Asian Mineral Resources Co.,Ltd. was established in 1984 with promotional support from the Board of Investment of Thailand. The key business activities are the mining and processing of industrial minerals. The company has established mineral deposits supplying barytes, talc, dolomite and calcium carbonate. In turn the company processes these various minerals at the main factory complex in Saraburi province, north of Bangkok.
Further expansion is being developed and the group expects to announce in late 2010 further companies set up in other Asian countries.
Minerals Asia Co., Ltd mainly focuses it’s activities on supplying the Thailand domestic market for the range of minerals, including oil drilling grades of barite. Minerals Asia is responsible for the barite processing plant at Songkhla in southern Thailand, ideally located to service the Gulf of Thailand oil drilling industry.
Ceraminas (Thailand) Co., Ltd is a separate operation processing a range of hard minerals to the ceramics and glass industry. Ceraminas has a separate factory site located at Phachi in Ayutthaya Province about 100km north of Bangkok city."
